You’ll arrive in India’s capital, Delhi, where our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and some time to rest, depending on your arrival schedule, you can enjoy a light introductory ride through Lutyens’ Delhi or simply relax. Later in the evening, there will be a welcome briefing with your tour leader and a short introduction to your Royal Enfield. This day is meant for recovery and light orientation. Overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast, begin your Delhi exploration on two wheels. Start in Old Delhi with a visit to the grand Jama Masjid followed by a thrilling ride through the labyrinthine lanes of Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Then cruise through tree-lined avenues to New Delhi to marvel at India Gate, the President’s House, and Parliament. Continue to visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. If time permits, stop by Lotus Temple or Akshardham before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Your motorcycle expedition officially kicks off today as you leave the city behind and head into rural Rajasthan. The ride is scenic and smooth, passing mustard fields, rustic villages, and local tea stalls. By afternoon, arrive in Mandawa—a historic town in the Shekhawati region famous for its lavishly painted havelis (mansions) and medieval charm. Check in at a heritage hotel and in the evening, walk through the old town to admire colorful murals, traditional architecture, and local life. Overnight stay in Mandawa.
After breakfast, saddle up and ride west into the heart of the desert toward Bikaner. The landscape begins to shift into semi-arid terrain, dotted with thorn trees and camel carts. On reaching Bikaner, check into your hotel and visit the majestic Junagarh Fort, one of the few Indian forts not built on a hill. Later, you may visit the Camel Breeding Farm or take an optional excursion to Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok, famously inhabited by thousands of sacred rats. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Today is one of the longest and most thrilling rides through the vast openness of the Thar Desert. You’ll cruise along straight desert highways flanked by sand dunes and small settlements. The golden city of Jaisalmer gradually appears like a mirage on the horizon. After hotel check-in, relax or enjoy a sunset walk around Gadisar Lake. You may also explore the lantern-lit streets of the old city. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
In the morning, visit the iconic Jaisalmer Fort one of the few “living forts” where people still reside inside its sandstone walls. Explore beautifully carved havelis such as Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Haveli. Post lunch, mount up and ride to the Sam Sand Dunes for a quintessential desert experience. Enjoy a camel safari, sand dune bashing (optional), and witness the sunset over rolling dunes. The evening includes traditional Rajasthani music, dance, and dinner under the stars. Return to Jaisalmer or stay overnight at a luxury desert camp.
After breakfast, ride southeast to Jodhpur, the gateway to Marwar and known as the Blue City. The ride takes you through desert plains and rocky outcrops. On arrival, check in and visit Mehrangarh Fort—one of the most formidable forts in India with stunning views of the blue-painted old city below. Walk through Jaswant Thada and explore the clock tower market for handicrafts and spices. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Spend a relaxed day discovering Jodhpur’s lesser-seen gems. Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, which functions as both a museum and a royal residence. Later, take a short countryside ride to visit the Bishnoi villages, home to the nature-worshipping Bishnoi tribe perfect for cultural immersion and wildlife spotting. You can also explore Mandore Gardens or enjoy a cooking class or rooftop dinner with a view of the illuminated Mehrangarh Fort. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, ride into the rugged beauty of the Aravalli Hills, with a memorable stop at the 15th-century Jain Temples in Ranakpur, famed for their intricate marble pillars and tranquil setting. Enjoy a calming boat ride on Lake Pichola to see Jag Mandir and the shimmering City Palace from the water. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Begin your day at the sprawling City Palace, overlooking the lake. Then visit Jagdish Temple, the royal gardens at Saheliyon Ki Bari, and explore Udaipur’s charming lanes lined with miniature art studios, cafés, and local crafts. If interested, ride uphill to Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace) for panoramic views. The afternoon is free for leisure or an optional yoga class by the lake. Overnight in Udaipur.
Today you ride north through rolling countryside and semi-desert terrain to reach Pushkar, a spiritual town built around a sacred lake. Upon arrival, visit the famous Brahma Temple the only major one in India and explore the ghats and bazaars. The town is known for its bohemian vibe, religious harmony, and if you visit during the annual Camel Fair, a riot of color and culture. Overnight in Pushkar.
Enjoy a scenic morning ride to Jaipur, the regal Pink City. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the Amber Fort, where you can ascend by jeep or on foot. Explore the City Palace, observe astronomical instruments at Jantar Mantar, and admire the honeycomb-like façade of Hawa Mahal. Jaipur’s markets are vibrant and ideal for picking up souvenirs like textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts. End your day with a traditional dinner at a haveli or cultural venue. Overnight in Jaipur.
Depart Jaipur and make a brief detour to Abhaneri to see the extraordinary Chand Baori, one of India’s most intricate stepwells.
