Excellent Trip from Delhi to Agra and back

I booked Driver India Private Tour on very short notice to drive my mom, my 3 young kids, and myself from the Delhi airport to Agra for an overnight stay and then back the next day. I was a bit nervous being a female traveler in India. From the time I started the booking process with Mukul I felt very comfortable. We arranged a Tempo Traveler to be our vehicle. It was much nicer in person than it looks in the pictures. (So comfortable that my son took a long nap). The air conditioning works well, as do the seatbelts. While we didn’t use it as we were busy looking out the windows, our driver Mr Ajeet said there was WiFi on board. We were greeted right outside the airport and immediately given marigold wreaths to wear. They were beautiful. Once we got to the van we were each offered a cold sealed bottle of water. Mr Ajeet was a great driver and seemed to be able to anticipate the hectic driving in the Delhi area. Once we arrived in Agra, our guide Hassan came to meet us and discuss our plans. He is a professor of history and the perfect guide. He took us to the Taj Mahal and Fort Agra. He had a wealth of information. He was able to point out things that my kids (ages 9, 6 and 6) would enjoy. For instance he pointed out an optical illusion on the Taj Mahal that one of my 6 year olds liked so much he said it was better than the elephant safari we took later in the trip. Hassan also brought us to a nice stop for lunch. It has excellent food and quick service. Hassan was also great at usher us through places and being a buffer between us and all the people trying to sell trinkets on the sidewalks. He and MrAjeet coordinated well so we were never standing on the street waiting for the van to arrive. Overall I’m very happy we used Driver India Private Tours as the trip went even smoother than expected.

My friend and I booked a private driver + tour guides for a personalized Golden Triangle tour - Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. From start-to-finish we had such an amazing experience and I can't imagine having gone on this trip without using this company. I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely book with them again next time I visit India! Our driver for our entire 10-day tour was Sushil and he was AWESOME. He's a great driver, super polite and professional, and was also lots of fun to spend hours driving with. Sushil made himself available whenever we needed a ride and was also really knowledgable about each of the cities we visited. He really went above-and-beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Our city tour guides were Ravi (in Delhi), Hassan (in Agra), Ali (at Fatepur Sikri), and Arvi (in Jaipur). Each of them were also insanely knowledgable, easy to talk to, fun to be around, and wanted to make sure we got exactly what we needed/wanted to our of our experience. All in all, I can't say enough to recommend Driver India Private Tours. We were able to tailor our trip to be exactly what we wanted and it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Our driver was Manohar for 5 days for the golden triangle route in India. Myself along with 3 other young girls went on this trip and honestly I cannot recommend him enough. Firstly, as 4 young girls travelling in a group in India he made us feel extremely safe and gave us tips on how we should act and how to take precautions as travellers because you cannot be naive when visiting India. Secondly, Manu was extremely helpful, speaks really good English and was always there for us when we needed him. He was very good at recommending additional sites, sticking to time schedules and had additional knowledge on the places we were visiting so if we didn’t have a guide it wasn’t an issue !! Can’t recommend him enough. Thanks so much Manu! You made the golden triangle route so much easier for us!!!! - Malika

He was always very conscious of our safety (four young 20s girls) and took us anywhere we needed to go. He’s got a very good sense of humour and kept us very entertained on the longer drive. Manu was always on time and would wait for us for as long as we needed at each site (we were never rushed). Manu has very good recommendations for restaurants, everywhere we ate was delicious and we never got sick. This company has made our experience of India very relaxed and safe and has taken away the stress we were expecting.

Taj Mahal Sunrise Day Tour

Mukesh was great! My husband and I had a 3 am pickup for our sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. Our 3-hour private ride from New Delhi to Agra was clean and comfortable. He stored and monitored our luggage throughout the day as we toured other sites in Agra. We felt safe. Mukesh was friendly and professional.

Everything about DIPT is truly one of a kind. I started planning a trip for me and my 11 friends over six months ago, and Mukul was with me every second of the way, helping figure out hotels, varying arrival times and the actual siteseeing itself. Once we arrived, I was blown away by the amazing hotels we stayed at and the quality of the tours. Mukul gave us a great tour and even helped us find amazing shops on a lighter day. Niku in Delhi was a crowd favorite, giving super helpful information. Vikram in Agra kept everyone laughing, even though it was literally 5AM. Uday in Jaipur helped plan a last minute half day trip that felt incredibly informative and not overwhelming. Highly highly highly recommend taking advantage of this great company. You really won’t regret it!

Incredible 7 day trip around Golden Triangle thanks to DIPT and to our driver Ramesh. He has treated us like family, taking care of us, avoiding tourist traps and showing us amazing places when spending time together. Ramesh has been the best person we have met in the trip, super patient all the time and flexible, he’s got massive heart, he’s always been super friendly and professional but making jokes as well, showing us local culture and always keen to pick up thousands questions about India and its culture. Mukul (DIPT) has been super flexible up to the very last minute accommodating the trip to our needs and planning it accordingly. We spent the first three days in Delhi, two days with amazing driver Ramesh showing us around and explaining all about Indian culture and the temples we visited. The remaining day Latit (Delhi guide) showed us the main monuments and let us experience Delhi not just like a tourist but as a local. The fourth day we went to Agra where Hassan Late (Agra guide) with massive cultural and historical knowledge explained all about Agra fort and Taj Mahal. He was super professional but close person coming for lunch with us where we spent an amazing time together. The 5th day we spent a great time with Ramesh on our 6 hour journey to Jaipur learning even more things about India and having a familiar conversation with him. He stopped a few times on the way to show us big sightseeing attractions and good local (but good for tourists stomach) restaurants. The last two days we had a super good and interesting guide (Himanshu) who took us to touristic attractions but also going off the beaten track showing us amazing local buildings. Then, Ramesh took a walk with us showing pure local markets avoiding touristic markets, tourist traps and remaining best places of Jaipur. India can be a big shock for foreigners so booking our trip with this company is the best we have done and we are now ready to experience India much better during our next few days. The hotels have been stunning and the best ones we’ve stayed at, the car and service is spot on with an always clean vehicle. Not a single complaint, not even one. All we have a good words to DIPT and specially towers our driver who made this trip inmemorable. THANK YOU and we will definitely come back to India.
