Arrive in Delhi, India's bustling and vibrant capital, where ancient Mughal heritage meets colonial charm and modern energy. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or take a light evening walk in Connaught Place or around India Gate, soaking in the local vibes.
Today, explore both Old and New Delhi. Begin with Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, and take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, a lively market packed with spice vendors, jewelers, and street food stalls. Visit Raj Ghat (Gandhi Memorial), the UNESCO-listed Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, and drive past India Gate, the Presidential Palace, and Parliament. Delhi is a living museum where every street corner tells a story.
Take a morning flight to Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha and an ancient city filled with majestic temples and tribal heritage. Upon arrival, explore Lingaraj Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva), the finely sculpted Mukteshwar Temple, and Rajarani Temple. Later, head to the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, 2nd-century rock-cut caves with Jain carvings and inscriptions. Bhubaneswar is a blend of spirituality, archaeology, and living tradition.
After breakfast, drive to Puri, one of India’s most sacred pilgrimage cities. Visit the world-famous Jagannath Temple (only Hindus allowed inside), and enjoy some leisure time on Puri Beach. En route back, stop at the UNESCO-listed Konark Sun Temple, an architectural masterpiece shaped like a giant chariot dedicated to the Sun God. Return to Bhubaneswar for overnight.
Fly to Kolkata, a city that thrives on literature, art, food, and colonial nostalgia. After check-in, visit the majestic Victoria Memorial, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the bustling New Market. Kolkata is not just a city, it's an emotion—blending British-era charm with Bengali soul.
Continue your exploration with a visit to Kalighat Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, and then stop at Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity. Tour the Indian Museum, take a tram ride through the older parts of the city, and visit the iconic Howrah Bridge. End the day with a sunset walk along the banks of the Hooghly River or enjoy a boat cruise.
Take a short flight to Bagdogra, a peaceful town in the foothills of the Himalayas surrounded by tea gardens and river plains. Spend the day visiting a local tea estate or simply rest at your hotel to prepare for the beautiful mountain drives ahead.
Drive through winding hill roads to reach Darjeeling, the “Queen of the Hills.” Upon arrival, visit the Japanese Peace Pagoda, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and enjoy a peaceful evening at the Mall Road overlooking the valley. Darjeeling's colonial charm, tea gardens, and cool weather make it one of India’s favorite hill stations.
Start early with a drive to Tiger Hill for a breathtaking view of Mt. Kanchenjunga at sunrise. On your return, stop at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoo, and take a ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train), a UNESCO World Heritage experience. Visit a tea estate and learn about the process of making the world’s finest tea.
Take a picturesque drive through mountain passes and riverside roads to Gangtok, the clean and organized capital of Sikkim. After checking in, visit Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and enjoy an evening walk along the vibrant MG Marg, which is lined with cafés and boutiques.
