Drive towards Rajkot, stopping at Virpur to visit the holy Jalaram Bapa Mandir, a site visited by thousands of devotees daily. On reaching Rajkot, visit the Watson Museum, showcasing Gujarat’s colonial history, and the Rotary Dolls Museum, a colorful collection of dolls from around the world. Begin your day with a visit to Kaba Gandhi No Delo, the childhood home of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Rashtriya Shala, known for its khadi and handloom textile work. After breakfast, continue your journey to Somnath, home to the first of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Visit the grand Somnath Temple, located at the confluence of the Hiran River and the Arabian Sea. Explore nearby Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is believed to have departed earth, and Triveni Sangam, a sacred confluence of three rivers. End your day with the sound and light show at the temple.
