Everest Base Camp Trekking Experience 13 Nights/14 Days

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu ‘Nepal’

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport, our company representative will meet you and after introduction to your driver, drive to your pre-booked hotel and relax. In evening we will take you to one of the most popular local restaurants with delicious Nepalese food, cultural music and ethnic dance. This will give you a glimpse into the different ethnic groups of the country. If you arrive late in the evening, we can do this the next day. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (40 Minutes Flight)- Phakding (4 hour Trek)

After breakfast, This day will begin with an early morning flight to Lukla. You will take a brief pause to make the final preparation. The trekking starts henceforth and you will then pass Chaurikharka Village and then descent towards Dudhkosi Ghat. From here following the banks of the pristine river the trek moves to camp site at Phakding. This day's trek is kept short internationally in order to get the tourists acclimatized with the climate. overnight stay at guest house.

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (5-6 hour Trek)

After breakfast, commence your journey henceforth to reach the next campsite. The trekking expedition begins at Phakding and will take you over a long suspension bridge and leading you along the river. You will then reach Hilarys suspension Bridge, this approximately Six hour long trek will then end at Namche Bazaar. Where you overnight stay at guest house.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar.

This day of your Nepal trekking tour will be scheduled for acclimatization and you can choose to go for their personal preference on this day. One can select from various alternatives offered here such as a nice hike to Thamel or simply relaxing or even exploring Namche Bazaar. The region is situated in the middle of the Khumbu region and has some interesting shops, restaurants where one can indulge in local cuisines and a bakery.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (5 hour Trek)

After breakfast, commence your journey henceforth to reach the next campsite. The trekking expedition begins at Namche Bazaar. you will follow the trail along the side of the valley high above the Dudhkosi River. You will get your first view of the Khumbu region's giant peaks, Mount everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. Pass by several villages and numerous tea shops, and descend steeply to a bridge over the river at Phunki Tenga. The village is an ideal stop over for lunch and you can rest before making the steep climb to Tengboche. After lunch although this next zigzag path is tiring, your views will include beautiful rhododendron forests, colorful birds, and superb mountain scenery. Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in Khumbu, and spectacular panorama of the aforementioned peaks can be seen from where you will stop for the overnight at guest house.

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (5 hour Trek)

On the sixth day, After breakfast, you will continue today through lush alpine forests. you will come across several small villages on the path. Here you will get a great great opportunity to see how the local Nepalese live. Passing via the Khumbila Khola Valley and ascending towards the ridge line, you will be awe-stricken by the surrounding lands capes. you will witness the jaw--dropping mountain: Mt. Taboche, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Cholatse, and many other. While you reach Dingboche, you will notice the landscape started to change. Treeline will be replaced with low shrub and a desert feel. You will love seeing the landscape changes. You will spend a night in Dingboche.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (Explore around the Valley)

After breakfast, Today is your second acclimatization day and you will trek up a steep mountain to allow your self to acclimatize. The trail is quite, steep, and rocky at points, but at every turn, the vistas become more spectacular. You will get some amazing views of Ama Dablam and other giant peaks with prayer flags at the viewpoint. If you wish and time allows you, you can climb another hour or to the top of the hill for even better views. After admiring the view you will again retrace back to Dingboche and take rest for few hours. You will spend a night at Dingboche.

Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche  (4-5 hours Trek)

On the eight day, you will head towards Lobuche via the steep terminal moraine left by the Khumbu Glacier. Gently, you will pass huge boulders displaced by the glacier. You might feel little difficult while climbing uphill but don't worry the jaw-dropping mountain views will keep you motivated. At the top of the hill, there are numerous memorials for climbers who've lost their lives climbing Mt. Everest. You can spend some time there and commemorate their daring decision to choose Everest expedition. After climbing for some time you will reach to Lobuche. Here you will find a small cluster of lodges and you will be almost at your highest altitude. You will spend your night at Lobuche.

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorak Shep to EBC to  (7 hours Trek)

Finally, this is the most awaiting day of the whole journey as you will climb to EBC. Today you will wake up early in the morning and move towards Gorak Shep, another small outpost of lodging. Actually, it was the original base camp in the 1953 expendition, the last before EBC. As your continue the trail to Gorak Shep, the Khumbu Glacier will come into view soon. As you come near the Gorak Shep, the trail will become rough as you will be walking over a large rock, up and down. After you reach Gorak Shep, you will take some rest and drop your backpack at Gortak Shep, and move onward to EBC. Slowly walking at your own pace is recommended to prevent the high altitude sickness problem. Slowly, you will approach the top of the Khumbu Glacier and soon you will get a view of the Khumbu Ice fall. After few hours of a hike, you will be at the site where so much history has been made, Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,364 m. The experience will intensify you more by the sense of achievement of making it up here. Well done!

Then, you will descend down the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, you will take down your way to Gorak Shep and spend overnight.

Day 10: Hike up to Kalapatthar and then Trek to Pheriche (7 hours Trek)

On the tenth day, you will hike to the highest point of your trek, Kalapatthar. The real face is Mt. Everest cannot be seen from Base Camp, as the Mt. Lhotse sits right in front of it. So, it is considered the best view point in the entire Khumbu region. From the top of the hill, you will have 360-degree views of Himalayan giants like Khumbutse, Changtse, Lhotse, Nuptse, and of course Mt. Everest!.

Once you have captured all your moment, you will start heading towards Pheriche. You will spend overnight at Pheriche.

Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

On the eleventh day, you will start your hike with gentle up and down hills. Again, you will cross suspension bridges and pass through small villages. Here you will meet other trekkers heading towards the opposite direction. After a few hours of a hike, you will reach Namche Bazaar, the capital capital city of Khumbu valley. After arriving here, you will have a huge relief. For obvious reason, there are lots of lodges, Cafe, Restaurants, and different shops. Here you can celebrate your accomplishment. You will spend a night at Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

On the twelfth day, you will trek back and it will be your last day of the walk. Again, you will descend further down crossing several suspension bridges. Trekking further all the way to Dudh Koshi river, You will arrive at Phakding. You will have some rest here and follow small ascend to Lukla. Here, you can again enjoy some best cuisine and hot shower. This will be the final day in Everest region. you will spend last night of your trek in Lukla.

Once again, You can celebrate your successful journey with follow trekkers.

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu

Today you will return back to Kathmandu from Lukla by twin-otter plane. Once again, You will be facing off with dramatic scenery on the way back. You can enjoy the final views of these amazing snow-capped peaks. After arriving at Kathmandu you can spend the rest of day in Kathmandu celebrating your success. If you want you can explore the city and do shopping for your loved ones and relatives. You will spend a night at Kathmandu.

Day 14: Departure Day from Kathmandu

Today is the last day of trip with us. If you would like to extend your holiday with us, we will help you if you require otherwise, we will assist you to the airport as per your flight departure time. If your flight is late evening, you can-do last-minute shopping or manage your photos of the trip then final departure from the airport. Tour End.
